NETWRIX RSA CONFERENCE SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES
To Enter: Complete an entry at the Netwrix booth (#2613) during the RSA Conference Expo at Moscone Center in San Francisco, California between February 29, 2016 and March 4, 2016, and you will be eligible to win the prize offered. One entry per person. Entries must be received during the Expo. Illegible, incomplete, or incorrect entries will be rejected. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
Prize Details: If the winner is a resident of the United States, winner may select the following described trip or $3,000 cash. Trip includes: round trip economy airfare for winner from a major commercial airport near the winner’s residence (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Oahu, Hawaii, four (4) nights single room, double occupancy accommodations at a hotel and in a room selected by Sponsor, and round-trip ground transportation between destination airport and hotel. (Approximate Retail Value is $3,000 but actual value may vary based on point of departure, airfare fluctuations and final trip details). Any difference between the approximate and actual value will not be awarded in any form. Gratuities, luggage fees, meals, incidental hotel expenses and all other expenses not specified herein are the winner’s responsibility. Trip must be taken by March 31, 2017 and is subject to availability, restrictions and blackout dates with exact dates to be agreed by Sponsor and winner. Flight schedules are subject to change without notice. Sponsor is not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation or delay. If trip is not taken for any reason, no compensation will be given in lieu thereof. Prize winner is responsible for securing all necessary travel documents. Prize winner may be required to provide a credit card at the time of hotel check-in to cover, among other things, incidentals and other expenses not included as part of the prize. Prizes is non-transferable, and no prize substitutions or cash redemptions are allowed except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If the prize or any portion thereof becomes unavailable, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All state, federal and local taxes (including income taxes) on prize are the winner’s sole responsibility. Prize will be awarded according to these Rules provided it is claimed in accordance with these Rules. Unclaimed prize may not be awarded.
If winner is not a resident of the United States, the prize is $3,000 cash.
Drawing and Awarding of Prize: One potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Sponsor will conduct the drawing and award the prize and its decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final. The potential winner will be notified by telephone or email within five (5) business days after the Expo and will be required to (a) acknowledge such notification within 24 hours and (b) execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within 7 days after notification. Failure to respond within the applicable time period will result in forfeiture of prize and Sponsor may award the prize to an alternate winner selected by a random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.
Odds: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Eligibility: Entrants must be attendees at the Expo who have received free passes or who have purchased tickets prior to January 29, 2016. Employees of Sponsor, exhibitors, media and conference operators and their respective parent and affiliated companies, and the immediate family members (namely, parents, siblings, spouse or children) or residents of the same household (whether related or not) of each are not eligible.
General: By entering, entrant confirms his or her eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes, compliance with these Official Rules, and acceptance of the prize as offered. By entering, entrant also releases Sponsor and its advertising and promotional agencies, and all of their respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense arising out of entrant's participation in this Sweepstakes or entrant's acceptance, possession, use, misuse or non-use of the prize, or from any and all claims of third parties arising therefrom.
By entering, entrant also consents to being entered in Sponsor's email database and agrees that Sponsor may contact entrant by email to announce the prize winner of the Sweepstakes, future special or promotional offers and Sponsor's products, and for Sponsor's market research purposes. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information submitted to Sponsor in connection with entering this Sweepstakes is governed by Sponsor's Privacy Policy which may be accessed at www.netwrix.com. In accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy, entrant can remove his or her name from Sponsor's email database.
By entering, entrants agrees that (except where prohibited) Sponsor may use winner's name, image, likeness and voice for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend part of all of this Sweepstakes should causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes. In such event, Sponsor may award the prize in a random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation or suspension.
Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning the prize if, in its sole discretion, Sponsor determines that the entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, deception, or other unfair practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives. Offer void where prohibited and subject to federal, state and local laws.
Limitation of Liability. Sponsor and its advertising and promotion agencies, and the respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents of each of the foregoing shall have no liability and shall be held harmless by a winner for any damage, loss or liability to person or property, due in whole or part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or the conduct or participation in this Sweepstakes. Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration in the city in which Sponsor’s hotel is located. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorney's fees. Sponsor and its promotion and advertising agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions whether caused by the Sponsor, users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries which may damage a user's system or limit a entrant's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY'S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
